Abstract

A case of a 65-year-old male with acute hepatitis E (HE) associated with both clinical and neurophysiologic findings of acute atypical form of Guillain-Barré syndrome (acute polyradiculoneuropathy) is reported. This association indicates that HE virus may play an unrecognized role in different neurologic involvements.
