Effect of two types of stress on expression of choline acetyltransferase and muscarinic M2 receptors in heart atria of rats with different activity of HPA axis.

Abstract

This study deals with the expression of CHAT and M2 receptors after application of two types of stress in two rat strains. Combined stress reduced increased expression of CHAT, which was more pronounced in Sprague-Dawley rats.

Expression of M2 receptors was not increased in atria after stress.
