Enatiomeric determination of tramadol and O-desmethyltramadol in human urine by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

Abstract

The paper describes the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry assay for stereoselective determination of tramadol and its pharmacologically active metabolite O-desmethyltramadol in human urine. The results show that the method could determine the enantiomers of tramadol and its metabolite in a pharmacogenetic study.
