Adolescent patient with bilateral crossbite treated with surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion: a case report evaluated by the 3d laser scanner, and using FESA method

Abstract

Our purpose in this case report is to present an orthodontic treatment obtained and the results achieved in 17-year-old white female patient with Angle Class II malocclusion and bilateral posterior crossbite. Patient was treated with bonded acrylic Hyrax appliance and surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion (SARME).
