Abstract
The text focusing on the issue of eating disorders and anorexia nervosa is targeting primary and secondary school teachers. It provides definition of the disorder, its clinical picture and etiology.
Besides that it deals with the specifics of eating disorders in childhood, with possibilities of prevention and crisis intervention on the level of school (teachers, peers) and with cooperation with the family.
