The thyroid function tests are necessary in pregnancy

Abstract

Thyroid dysfunction may cause irregular menstrual cycle and sterility, and- what is very important - during pregnancy may negatively influence the psychomotorical development of fetus. We suggets the thyroid function examination (TSH, FT4, TPOab) in pregnancy for all women in the 1st trimester in pregnancy, and the immediate treatment if necessary.
