Detection of cell-free tumor DNA in plasma as a biomarker of presence of liver metastases in colorectal cancer patients

Abstract

In our study detection of free tumour DNA (CNA) exhibits better sensitivity over circulating tumour cells (CTC) and as such presents a more useful tool for monitoring of dissemination of the colorectal cancer.
