Bicarbonate haemodialysis with A-Concentrate with citric acid (Citrasate)

Abstract

To minimize the risk of precipitation reaction between calcium chloride and bicarbonatein dialysis solution the solution is acidified by a small amountof acetic acid added to the A-concentrate. Theoretically, also some other acids could be used.
