Abstract
Neuroendocrine tumors of the appendix are defined as 1. well-diferentiated endocrine tumors with bening or uncertain behavior, 2. well.deferentiated endocrine carcinoma and 3. goblet cell carcinoma. Patients are cured by appendectomy or hemicolectomy.
