Abstract
Inflammatory bowel diseases are multifactorial disease. Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are essential diseases.
Crohn's disease affects the entire digestive tract, but most commonly affects the small and large intestine. Ulcerative colitis does not affect the small intestine, but is limited to the rectum and colon.
