Hemorrhoidal diseases. Symptomatology, diagnostic procedures and therapy.

Abstract

Hemorrhoidal diseases are the most frequent disorders which involve the gastrointestinal tract. At the least 25% of our population intermitentky suffers from hemorroidal diseases.

The most typical symtomatology of hemorrhoidal diseases is painless rectal bleeding. Diagnostic procedures are focused on exclusion of other organic diseases of the anal channel and rectum, especially the colorectal cancer.

Therapy has to be complex and includes the regime measures with a high fiber diet, medicamentous, instrumental and also surgical options.
