Unexpectedly discovered chronic aortic dissection in a cardiac MRI scan of a patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Abstract

Authors are presenting a case of a patient suffering with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. During a planned cardiac MRI, a chronic aortic dissection was unexpectedly found.

Non-invasive imaging methods and treatment options of chronic aortic dissection are discussed.
