Abstract
The idea of International Hospital Association originated in the congres in Atlantic City in 1929 and appointing Czechoslovakia as the sita of its III. course was the sign of the appraisal of the expert work of the Czechoslovak Hospital Association and its high standard even in the international context. The concept of the Czechoslovak hospital reform convened with the most modern trends discussed in Atlantic City.
