Medical treatment in coincident valvular heart disease and arterial hypertension

Abstract

A number of patients with valvular heart disease concurrently suffer from arterial hypertension. When treating patients with aortic and mitral regurgitation by means of ACE inhibitors we can influence the symptoms of valvular heart disease and left ventricular volumes.
