The dynamics of individual nucleosomes controls the chromatin condensation pathway: direct atomic force microscopy visualization of variant chromatin

Abstract

Structural studies show that chromatin segments containing variant and conventional nucleosomes folds in different way proving thus that individual nucleosmes dictates overall folding of chromatin fiber.
