The main goal of this article is to find parameters for the severity assessment of children with developmental dysphasia. These parameters will be used for an automatic classifier.
Developed algorithm in the form of software applications should be helpful in the future to phoniatrist and clinical specialists to assess the current level of development of speech and articulation. Spectral moments of isolated sibilants and their length, rate and rhythm of speech in specific utterances are only some of suitable parameters for diagnosis of developmental dysphasia.
