Study is concerning ambivalence of land art which may bring new experience when absorbing pieces of arts situated in the landscape, but reproducing the object, photography or recording the project this new experience is devalued. Heidegger´s capturing space through arts, which is appearance of things, has been reminded.
Metamorphosis of modern arts in mid-20th century seem to be a convincing proof of it. Patočka´s theory of haptic in sculpture and Hildebrand´s conception of the form in the art have been confronted with the views of land artists and the sense of their work.
