Abstract
Publication offers in its clinical part a brief review of rheumatic diseases, which are dividend into ten chapters: diffuse connective tissue diseases, seronegative spondylarthritides, degenerative joint diseases, metabolic bone and joint diseases, infectious arthritides, rheumatic fever, soft tissue rheumatism, other rheumatic diseases and rheumatological manifestations of internal diseases. In all diseases an ethiology, clinical pattern, laboratory and imaging methods, diagnosis and management are mentioned.
In the most frequent diseases also guidelines for activity and function impairment evaluation and indication criteria for biological treatment are listed as well. Clinical part is completed with practical issues (clinical examination, laboratory and imaging methods in rheumatology) and with resumption of drugs being used in management of rheumatic diseases.
