Abstract
Despite of the fact that chances of the irregular migrants for dignified life and social security in the receiving country are from many points limited, the numbers of irregular migrants has been steadily growing in the OECD countries in recent years. The fact gives importance to the issue of unauthorised migration.
Text shows what kind of impact the irregular status of migrant can have upon his family life. Similarly to the other domains, unauthorised residence brings the number of disadvantages and problems which are cumulated according to the type of irregular behaviour of migrant.
