Abstract

The aim of this article is the importance of M. tibailis posterior tendon to the foot function. The tendon of tibialis posterior is an important stabilizer of the forefoot.

In its dysfunction leads to instability in the foot and talonavicular and calcaneocuboid joint, the foot decrease in longitudinal arch of the foot, heel turns into valgus.
