Dissociative Seizures

Abstract

The disorder carries a poor prognosis: the majority of patiens remains out of employment and have a poor social outcome even if seizures less frequent or resole. There have been several retrospective case series and a numer of authors have outlined general principles of management.

There was Publisher an open, prospective succesful trial of CBT in patiens with dissociative seizures attending a specialist neuropsychiatry service.
