Abstract
Genetical foundations of ADHD are being studied extensively. Although candidate genes and their polymorphisms contributing to the development of the disorder are known.
Practical applications are still missing. Pharmacogenetics represent of possible practical application with strong clinical value.
Possibility to predict and plan case sensitive application of medication would be very use-full in the practice. The article gives basic overview of actuall findings in the area of pharmacogenetics of ADHD.
