Abstract
The article reviews recent evidence on traumatic stress as an important etiological factor in pathogenesis of psychiatric diseases. At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant should be able to demonstrate that cytokine IL-6 closely related to traumatic stres symptoms and depression.
