Abstract
This article represents the editorial introduction to the Special Issue of the journal "Nucleus". To this Special Issue, seventeen participants of the “The EMBO Workshop on Chromatin structure, organization and dynamics” that took place in April 2011 in Prague, Czech Republic, contributed with original and review papers.
Ivan Raska (Guest Editor-in-Chief, Yosef Gruenbaum, Harald Herrmann, Karla Neugebauer have acted as guest editors for this special issue.
