Abstract
The chapter aims at capturing a regulatory framing for ex-post analysis in environmental domain. Traditionally, law and legal theory in its infrequent attempts to explore its own functioning in environmental domain departs to approaches of other social disciplines being it economics or sociology.
Currently, qualitative research approaches seems to prevail.
