Biotransformation, disposition and toxicological detection psychedelic phenylalkylamines - drugs of abuse
Abstract
New synthetic drugs known for their psychtropic potential are drugs of abuse with adverse health and social impacts. Serious cases of poisoning have been described.
The aim of this study has been to investigate temporal disposition profile of selected phenylakylamine derivatives using experimental rats and thus to obtain data that can be the base for laboratory diagnostics of intoxication or abuse. The attention has been focused on 2C-B ( 4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenylethylamine) and PMMA (4-methoxymethamphetamine).
