Abstract
This study evolved as a reaction to still unclear attitude to the third molar that was going through all disciplines of stomatology. Is the third molar for its negative properties harmful enough to be predetermined to prophylactit extraction? According to the world´s latest news this question is answered.
The recent findingsin the field of physiology and pathology of the processes concerning the development and eruption of the third molar, enable to set a clear criterion when preserve it or to extract it.
