Quantitative acoustic measurements for characterization of speech and voice disorders in early untreated Parkinson's disease

Abstract

New automatic methods for acoustic assessment of voice and speech allow to differentiate between patients and healthy controls and to determine whether voice and speech disorders are present since the early stages of Parkinson's disease.
