Abstract
A chapter in the introduction introduces the biological basis of neurodegeneration and in other parts acquainted with various types of neurodegenerative diseases (dementia, extrapyramidal hypo-and hyperkinetic disorders, spinocerebellar degeneration), and by their diagnosis and treatment options.
