Abstract
Measurements of asthma biomarkers in EBC offer a novel way of monitoring lung inflammation and provide insight into the pathophysiology of the disease. The diagnostics based on determination of biomarkers present in EBC is copletely non-invasive, well accepted by the patiens, applicable to children, siutable for longitudinal studies, patien follow-up and potentially useful for monitoring drug therapy.
