Phosphorylated Human Lectin Galectin-3: Analysis of Ligand Binding by Histochemical Monitoring of Normal/Malignant Squamous Epithelia and by Isothermal Titration Calorimetry

Abstract

Galectin -3 plays role in CK-1 dependent phosphorylation. To elucidate its significance, phosphorylated Galectin -3 was prepared.

Histochemical monitoring of normal and malignant squamous epithelia and isothermal titration calorimetry did not reveal any effect of phosphorylation.
