Adipokine profile is modulated in subcutaneous adipose tissue by TNF alpha inhibitors in patients with rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract

In this study we tested whether tumor necrosis factor alpha inhibitor therapy, which prevents joint damage in majority of patiens with RA, may be associated with a change in the local production of adipokines in subcutaneous adipose tissue.
