Abstract
Rising consumption of drugs by seniors and potentially risks of polypharmacotherapy lead to effort to develope mechanisms for evaluation of purpose and efficacy of prescription at elderly people. We can use some from criterias of potentially inappropriate drugs in the old age - e.g.
Beers criteria, McLeod criteria, IPET criteria, STOPP/START criteria.
