Abstract
The main theme of this report was improving interdisciplinary cooperation and joining of doctors - specialists of other specializations and also non-doctors medicine professionals to multidisciplinary groups in care about elderly people in geriatrics. The European Union, where about 17,4% of population is over 65 year´s old age, is the region with the biggest number of elderly people in the world.
It is necessary to focuse social and medicne policy on population of elderly people.
