Abstract
Post mortem virtual autopsy proves to be a complementary method to conventional pathological-anatomical autopsy, to determine what type of congenital birth defects were present. Often has a key role, where options of classic autopsy are limited (advanced autolysis, dilatation of the ventricular system, inability to formol fixation).
