Supervision in the Czech nursing is still a new phenomenon, not only at undergraduate level of education of paramedical workers - nurses, but also in clinical practice. The paper focuses on the importance of clinical and professional supervision of a supervisory relationship, as an area that supports the principles of growth and support, focusing on reflective practice as a way to improve care not only for ourselves but also our patients / customers.
Supervision may be beneficial in appropriate circumstances for its participants themselves. Its importance is not just the result, but also the actual process of supervision.
It develops because the whole spectrum of skills, including reflective skill of all involved.
