Abstract
Cannabis drugs and pervitin are most used/abused illegal drugs in the Czech Republic. Estimation of volume of trade with the substances includes epidemiological indicators of drug users (from prevalence rates) and their drug use behaviour.
Estimation of drug consumption from demand side is based on the indicators. Cannabis drugs are imported, produced and exported in the Czech Republic.
Pervitin is purely domestic production, where small part is exported also. The indicators of drug trade in physical units are transferred on financial indicators by wholesale and retail prices.
Inclusion of the financial indicators into the system of national accounts could estimate value added from the drug trade and compare it with gross domestic product. The result is the share of the cannabis drugs and pervitin trade 0.15 % on total economy.
