Abstract

The aim of the study was to compare a HPLC-ED method for the determination of methanephrine and normethanephrine in blood plasma and a HPLC-FLD method for the determination of the same analytes in conjugated from urine. Both methods interpret the results in relation to the presence of pheochromocytoma.

The ability of methods to distinguish the patients with and without pheochromocytoma has been proved.
