Abstract
Aim of this study is to compare conventional treatment of alveolar osteitis with other progressive treatment modalities, which minimize indications for antibiotics and painkitllers presciption. Three alternative treatment methods are reviewed - ozone treatment, laser treatment and LED photobiomodulation of alveolar osteitis after surgical extraction of lower third molar.
Results of ozone and laser therapy are comparable, treatment duration was reduced and laser therapy are comparable, treatment quicker. Results of light therapy are comparable with couventional treatment.
