Abstract
Metabolic syndrome is a clinical term for the concurrence of serious risk factors in patients with the visceral accumulation of fat tissue. The presence of the metabolic syndrome alone don´t predict the raelly metabolic and cardiovascular risk of unique patient – it depends on number and combination of the metabolic syndrome components.
