Abstract
Domestic violence represents a serious psychosocial phenomenon with multiple and traumatic impact on the psychic of the victim. Domestic violence also represents serious question within clinical and forensic psychiatric practice.
It is needed to know clinical relations of the phenomenon and especially in the forensic practice, it is needed to know broader conceptual definitions and its connection to legal practice and psychological theories. The article gives up-to-date review of the phenomenon with the stress on the forensic relations.
