Abstract

Chaper is bringing short summary of neurological diseases and symptoms connected with eating disorders. Author emphasizes importance of biological surroggate markers such as blood mineral levels (pottasium, natrum, ets.), role of imaging techniques, electrophysiological methods and necessity of proper interpretation of clinical findings in patients with Anorexia nervosa and Bulimia.

Author is mentioning also rare eating disorder complications such as central pontine myelinolysis (including case report)
