Serum visfatin levels in patients with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa

Abstract

Visfatin is an adipose tissue-derived hormone shown to correlate with visceral fat mass in patients with obesity. Its possible role in patients with different types of eating disorders is unknown.
