Abstract

Urinary incontinence affects the quality of life. We tested the urodynamic parameters VLPP (Valsava Leak Point Pressure) and MUCP (Maximal Urethral Clossure Presure) and the disease specific questionnaire I-QOL (Incontinence Quality of Life) as subjective measurement of quality of life before surgery and 3 month after surgery.

We try to determine whether low values of MUCP and VLPP before operation can predict the quality of life after operation. In our study low values of MUCP and VLPP did not correlate with I-QOL and we did not demonstrate that women with low values of MUCP and VLPP have lower quality of after even before surgery.
