Abstract
The Czech Republic has initiated all three screening programmes on the basis of standardized information support. The presented information support consists of three key components: process monitoring by means fo data od health care payers, monitoring of quality based on data directly collected in individual diagnostic centres, and monitoring of population-based cancer epidemiology.
The system provides essential information outcomes for the management of the screening programmes with a unique data basis for further development of the programmes in accordance with current scientific findings. The system is primarily focused of the following target subjects: expert medical societies, health insurance companies, Ministry of Health.
