Screening of oncological diseases in Czech Republic and its importance of the availability of treatment

Abstract

Screening programmes for breast, colorectal and cervical cancer have been initiated in the Czech Republic. These programmes have been shown to decrease population cancer incidence and mortality.

Monotoring of screening examinitaion has been made avalaible in the Czech Republic by pilot project of programmeś information support. It has provided basal data on screening coverage and neoplasia detection.
