Abstract
The chapter deals with the function and therapeutric use of hypothalamic and pituitary hormones, i.e. hypothalamic hormones gonadorelin and somatostatin and their superactive analogues, and pituitary hormones desmopressin, oxytocin, somatropin and his analogue pegvisomant, menotropin, follitropin and lutropin.
