A comparison of the acute effects of calcium and strontium ranelate on the serum marker of bone resorption

Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |
2012

Abstract

The decrease in PTH and the marker of bone resorption observed after the strontium ranelate administration is comparable to the decrease observed after the calcium administration in young adults. The results contribute to interpretation of the mechanisms by which strontium ranelate inhibits the bone resorption.
