Abstract

The article dealing with the head nurse's position in a historical context, which covers the period between the two world wars. In hospitals worked mainly nuns, who had presented his sister.

It was in a narrow hospital management. During the 20th and 30 ies gradually found application in the civil hospital nurses and civilian nurses presented, then the principal or chief nurse.
