Disturbances of Gastric Electrical Control Activity after Laparotomic Cholecystectomy Are Related to Interleukin-6 Concentrations

Abstract

EGG examination showed high sensitivy in evaluation of gastric electrical activity after cholecystectomy, significant correlation of prolonged bradygastria and IL-6 plasma levels supports a role of inflammatory milieu in pathogenesis of impaired gastric electrical activity in postoperative period.
